DAVE Pinkowski said this week that he is already planning Mildenhall Town FC's title quest for next season.
The Recreation Way boss has highlighted his side's lack of firepower and revealed that he is close to signing a proven Ridgeons League goalscorer.

"I am keen to keep the strikers we have because they all bring something different to the party," said Pinkowski.

"But, when you look at statistics, it is clear that we have not scored enough goals this season."

Pinkowski may consider a return to action himself after scoring, what he described, as a fine individual goal in a charity match on Saturday.

Unfortunately for the Town boss, he was carried off the field of play after snapping his groin during his post-goal celebrations.

"I was delighted with the goal and in the excitement I forgot how old I was and over did the celebrations a bit," he said.

"All the proceeds went to Great Ormond Street which makes it all worthwhile," he added.
