THETFORD A's first game in three weeks ended in defeat away to promotion-chasing Leverington in West Norfolk Division Two.
The visitors bowled first and Gavin Siriwardena (3-37) claimed the wickets of Damien Allen and Glyn Wilson.
Dominic Mills (39) was finally caught by Andy Kerling off Adam Everett (2-33) and Gilbert (53) fell in the same way soon after.
Greyson (2-59) and Josh Coleman (1-42) claimed quick wickets before the tail edged the score to 200, before Matt Kerling (2-4) cleaned up.
In reply, Simon Lewis and Andy Kerling got Thetford off to an impressive start, putting on 50 in 11 overs.
However, Lewis (37) was caught before Kerling and Siriwardena were undone by unpredictable bounce.
Lord (22) mixed defence with aggression, and was supported by Hudson.
After both were caught in the slips, Matt Kerling (23no) and Shaun Bowden (19) accumulated steadily, taking the score past 120. However, Thetford could only finish on 135-7.
WOOLPIT CC, sponsored by the Turner Motor Group, hosted Tuddenham in a Two Counties Division Three fixture.
Tuddenham batted first and were all out for 152.
Darrin Seward took 4-35 and Adie Starling claimed 4-47.
In reply, Gerry Vosloo scored 54, before Tom Whiteman hit an unbeaten 57 as Woolpit won by eight wickets.
Woolpit's 2nd XI travelled to table-toppers Ipswich & ES.
Fielding first, Woolpit's Ian Firth and Jimmy Allen put in economical spells to restrict the hosts to 160-7. In reply, Tereblanche started aggressively, but he, King and Newcombe all perished with the score on 30. Tim Parker and Ollie Whiteman steadied the ship, putting on 102 for the fourth wicket as Woolpit cruised home to win by six wickets.
Woolpit Sunday 1st X1 batted first on a slow wicket at Exning.
Gerry Vosloo made 62 as the visitors closed on 167.
Exning's reply was thwarted when Vosloo claimed 5-15. The hosts crumbled to 139 all out.
