GREENE King, playing at home, took five points off Ixworth to win the Bury and District Bowls League Division One Championship by an impressive margin of 14.5 points.

Walsham moved up to third place after winning 80(4.5)-63(1.5) against West Row, who are already relegated.
Tuddenham did well to take five-and-a-half points off St Edmundsbury A, but could not avoid relegation.
In Division Two, Hengrave only managed one-and-a-half points away to Risbygate B, but this was sufficient to ensure top place.
Elmswell retained runners-up spot despite losing 90(5)-64(1) at Coney Weston Swan.
Great Barton finished in third place after their home win of 81(5)-60(1) against neighbours Pakenham.
British Sugar B lost 63(1)-83(5) at home to Mildenhall, which confirmed their relegation together with Risbygate B.
In Division Three, all but St Edmundsbury B have another game to play, but British Sugar A and Barnham are sure of promotion.
The A team's final fixture is at home to Thurston, and Barnham are away to St Botolphs B. These matches will decide the divisional champions.
