The B string triple jump was won by Peter Fellingham, with 10.03m, before coming a close second in the pole vault after recording a height of 2.60m.

Dennis Wallington took third following a safe B-string long jump, having fouled in his first two attempts.

Andrew Harland hit 1.65m to claim second in high jump, before winning in javelin with 49.80m.

Steve Bode won B string with 18.15mSuch was the standard of the other throwers, the team did not score as many points as usual.

Diss athlete Simon Bowman finished second after a hammer throw of 40.22m.

Steve came third in B string.
