A mature approach by pupils at St Edmund's Catholic Primary School has been praised in a recent Ofsted inspection.

It received a good rating in every subject and inspectors said the school provided good value for money, with pupils well-prepared for the future.

The report said: "Pupils are justifiably proud of how well they work and play together."

The report on the Bury school said improvements were needed in planning subjects to reflect cultural diversity, planning regular outside activities and improve progress in writing for pupils at Key Stage 1.
