Youngsters at Culford School are celebrating after their school received two glowing inspection reports.
Inspectors from Ofsted rated the school's boarding care as 'outstanding' following their latest visit, while its prep, pre-prep and senior schools all had excellent feedback from the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI).
According to an ISI report published last month following an inspection in November, teaching in all sections of the school was good and in many cases outstanding, while its pastoral care also came in for praise.
Inspectors said the school was already aware of its weaknesses, which included a need to develop the senior school's library and a need for the prep and pre-prep schools to give appropriate work to children at all levels.
Meanwhile, Ofsted inspectors who visited the boarding school at the same time said boarders were 'provided with a high level of care and outstanding pastoral support', while security and pupils' meal choices had improved since their last visit.
Headteacher Julian Johnson-Munday called the reports 'a fantastic endorsement', adding: "The reports have given us real pride and we all look forward to building even further upon this success."
