FUND-RAISERS were dancing to the tune of £400 this week at a mass Zumba event.
Red Lodge Millennium Centre was packed with dance-fitness fanatics on Saturday as they pulled out their best moves for St Nicholas Hospice Care.
The event was organised by Clare Bester, who is also running the London Marathon for the hospice next month.
She was inspired to set up the fund-raiser after one of her colleagues, Suzy Rush, was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease and supported by the hospice.
She said: “The hospice was top of my list for fund-raising.
“Suzy has done a lot to raise money for the hospice and if she can do it I have no excuse. She’s a big inspiration.”
At £5 per person, the event raised more than £400 for the hospice.
