SCHOOLchildren had a ‘magnifique’ time when they visited a car dealership as part of their French studies.

Four pupils from Westley Middle School, in Bury St Edmunds, enjoyed a morning of fun at Rawlinson Renault to broaden their knowledge of French culture.

David Jones, fleet sales manager, gave them a tour of the site, where they learnt about the different job roles and functions within each department.

They savoured a croissant and chocolat chaud with managing director Jonathan Rawlinson.

The children finished the morning with a drive in new electric car, the Twizy.

Meanwhile, Westley Middle has been awarded the nationally recognised ‘Artsmark Gold’ for their high standards of work in the arts.

Today Year Six pupils will watch a performance of ‘Seven Ages of Man’ by the Kepow theatre company as a reward for their hardwork in their Key Stage Two SATs.
