A CHILDREN’S play centre which aimed to raise funds for East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices was none too pleased with sun and sky high temperatures.
Many families who would have turned up to the Fun2Play event on Monday stayed away to enjoy outdoor activities.
The Roman Way centre in Thetford, which provides activities for accompanied children up to the age of 12, decided to hold a charity fun day for EACH which supports seriously ill children and their families.
Sonia Baxter, centre manager, said they were hoever hoping to carry on raising money for EACH later in the year.
But for the youngsters who came along on the day it proved to be fun all the way.
