A woman is in hospital after a car came of the road and ended up in a ditch in Great Finborough.
Emergency services were called shortly before 11am this morning to reports of a black Vauxhall Corsa in a ditch on Combs Road.
Fire crews attended the scene, releasing the woman from the vehicle using cutting equipment.
A Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “We were called at 10.54am to a report of a road traffic collision involving a car in a ditch.
“Three fire engines attended the scene and used electric cutting equipment to free the casualty from the car.
“Once freed from the car we released her into the hands of the paramedics and made the car safe.”
An East of England Ambulance spokesman said the woman was taken to West Suffolk Hospital with minor injuries.
He said: “We sent two rapid response vehicles and an ambulance to the scene.
“The woman was the only casualty and suffered minor injuries.”
