A Bury St Edmunds woman accused of causing death by careless driving has appeared in court.

Deborah Lumley-Holmes, 52, on Cannon Street was charged following an incident in Newmarket Road, Risby on October 7 last year, after which cyclist Julian Evans,51, of Woodland Close, Risby, died.

No plea was indicated when Lumley-Holmes appeared at Ipswich Crown Court today. She is to reappear at the court in November for a further preliminary hearing and remains on bail.
