Police are appealing for witnesses after an 18-year-old man reported being struck by a vehicle which failed to stop in Barnham.

The collision was at around 10.20pm last night, Wednesday March 4, on the A134 Bury Road, in the vicinity of Rymer Point.

The man was walking along the road towards Thetford where he was struck by a vehicle which failed to stop.

He suffered minor injuries to his leg as a result of this collision and was taken to West Suffolk Hospital for treatment.

Police would like to hear from any witnesses who may have been in the area at the time of the incident, or anyone with information in relation to it.
