Witness appeal to collision on A14 at Risby

Police are appealing for witnesses following a two vehicle collision on the eastbound carriageway of the A14 at Risby yesterday.

Emergency services were called to a report that a green Ford Focus had been in collision with a lorry at around 9.30am. The car left the road and went into a ditch.

The driver of the car, a woman in her 80s, received minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to West Suffolk Hospital, in Bury St Edmunds.

Police are keen to hear from anyone who was travelling along the A14 and witnessed the collision.

Calls should be made to Pc Graham Clark at Bury Roads Policing and Firearms Operations Unit on 101.
