Food, music, dance and hands on at a range of trades will all be on offer on Saturday at West Suffolk College’s Open Day.
Staged in their new Gateway Building in Out Risbygate and the Milburn Centre in Anglian Lane, Bury St Edmunds the event runs between 10am and 1pm.
It follows two successful Open Days staged in November when just over 700 potential students visited the college. See the timelapse video created by Danny Hewitt (www.dmhewitt.com)
Visitors can find out about full-time courses and apprenticeships on offer at the college with live music and contemporary dance from students at the performing arts school Conservatoire EAST.
Students in the hospitality department will provide some tasty dishes to showcase the cuisine on offer at the college’s restaurant Edmunds, formerly known as Zest.
There will also be a chance to ‘try a trade’ in demonstrations of construction courses available to the Milburn Centre.
There are further Open events in February and May. See more at www.westsuffolkcollege.ac.uk
