Witnesses are being sought following an attempted robbery of a woman at a cash machine in Sudbury.

Detectives have issued descriptions of two men who are alleged to have been involved in the incident on Market Hill, which happened at around 10.45am on Tuesday, December 22.

Police say the woman was withdrawing money from the machine when one of the men pushed her out of the way.

The second man then tried to take the cash and the card before the pair walked away towards Station Road.

Both men are described as white, with very dark short curly hair and in their mid-20s.

One of the men is said to be around 5’4” tall and was wearing shiny blue ‘puffa style’ jacket. The other man is said to be around 5’8” tall and was wearing a jacket.
