Bury St Edmunds has got its Christmas party frock on following last week’s lights switch on.
But that is just the beginning. This Thursday afternoon the renown Bury Christmas Fayre will start drawing crowds from across the country.
The town will be full of stalls and special attractions with a Christmas spirit and, naturally, Santa will park his reindeer to meet the children in his Abbey gardens grotto.
To make sure everyone gets a chance to catch up on their present shopping with late night shopping every Thursday until Christmas.
See Friday’s Bury Free Press for a report and pictures of the lights switch on.
