A UK industry leader in Bury St Edmunds has announced plans create more than 140 jobs as it takes its first steps into global markets.

IT specialist Network 2 Supplies (N2S) will take its workforce up to more than 200, after announcing a record turnover of £5m for 2012/13 alongside two major contract wins.

Those contracts – one with a World renowned banking organisation – will see N2S working at more than 7,000 locations across Europe, India and America.

It will securely dispose end of life IT systems, containing sensitive and confidential information.

N2S will also install and support telecommunications and IT infrastructure.

Jack Gomarsall, Managing Director, said: “For some time now we have firmly established ourselves as the UK leader in the IT asset end-of-life and in-life solutions and with these two major contract wins we are now an international player.

“Our aim is to become the World leader in our industry and we are well on our way to achieving just that, which is great news for us but also for the reputation of the UK’s exporting abilities on a global market.

“Despite the tough economic market the last year has been fantastic for us.

“We have achieved our highest ever turnover and profits and established ourselves on the international market, and all in our 10th year.

“Our growth will also benefit the local community at our base in Bury, where we will be creating more than 140 new jobs by the end of 2014.

“We feel our continued growth is testament to our unrivalled expertise, our ability to perform at the highest levels and a growing worldwide reputation for excellence.”

The new international clients will add the already impressive N2S portfolio of clients, which includes the Royal Bank of Scotland, the Home Office, the HM Prison Service, military departments, various other government departments, UK universities, large NHS organisations and a number of leading industry bodies.
