Two men arrested after break-in at business premises in Bury St Edmunds

Two men were arrested last night following a break-in at a business property in Bury St Edmunds.

The incident was at about 7.15pm on Sunday June 29, at the premises in Northern Way, where a hole was cut in the fence and a vehicle battery stolen.

Officers responding to reports of suspicious activity at the site, searched the area and subsequently arrested two men on suspicion of burglary.

The men, one aged 24, of Bury St Edmunds and the other aged 25, of no fixed abode, were taken to Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre where they currently remain for questioning.
