Two men have appeared in court accused of robbery following an alleged incident in a flat in Bury St Edmunds.
James Mann, 38, and James Curtis, 29, both of Ipswich Street, are charged with robbing another of an iPhone, Samsung mobile phone and computer monitor on June 17 in connection with an alleged incident at a property, in Guildhall Street.
Mann is also accused of possessing an offensive weapon, a hammer, while Curtis is accused of possessing a chisel in a public place in Guildhall Street on June 17.
They appeared at Bury Magistrates’ Court today and were sent to Ipswich Crown Court for a hearing on July 2.
They were both remanded in custody.
