Two hospitalised after collision on A11 near Thetford

Two people were taken to hospital after a collision on the A11 near Thetford on Saturday (August 23).

Two ambulances, an ambulance officer and a Suffolk Accident Rescue Service (SARS) medic were called to the scene around 9pm after two cars collided on the road near Elveden.

The SARS team helped treat two patients, one for neck and arm injuries and the other for neck and hip injuries.

The patients were taken to West Suffolk Hospital for further treatment, but their conditions were not believed to be life-threatening.
