TV VET Marc Abraham will be the host of next month’s LovePets show.
Marc who is resident vet on ITV’s This Morning, Daybreak and BBC Breakfast News will be gving live talks on a range of pet related topics, answering questions from the audience and sharing anecdotes from his days as a vet.
But the two-day event on October 29 and 30 at the EXEC at the East of England Showground in Peterborough is mainly a showcase for pets of all descriptions from the cute and cuddly to the exotic.
There will also be a chance to see working dogs including guide dogs, hearing dogs and Pets as Therapy.
There will also be a wealthg of information on being a good pet owner at the event which is supported by The Kennel Club.
It will also be promoting the Young Kennel Club for children who are interested in dogs as pets.
Marc, a vet for 16 years, said: “The show brings these wonderful animals together for people to meet, and promises visitors a huge feel-good factor.”
Marc is keen to see some of the unusual species including racoons, snakes, scorpions and rabbits which he doesn’t normally come across in his working day.
Marc will also be signing copies of his latest book Vet on Call if people want to bring them along.
Tickets for the event can be pre-booked at www.lovepetsshow.co.uk and online family tickets – two adults and three children – are just £12. Animal charities will receive 10 per cent of ticket sales.
