A FOUR-YEAR-OLD girl has scored a double victory after winning the Bury Free Press Baby and Toddler Contest for the second time.
Lilly May Pollard emerged triumphant after 254 youngsters were put forward in the annual competition to be named our readers’ cutest tot.
Voters could pick their favourites in four age categories with framed portraits handed out as prizes courtesy of Premier Promotions.
Lilly’s parents, Kirsty Hubbard and James Pollard, of Ashwell Road, Bury St Edmunds, were delighted with her success as she also won the contest two years ago.
Miss Hubbard said: “I’m over the moon that she has won again.”
In the 3-5 years category, she was joined by runners up TJ Curtis and Harley Myers. The winner of 19-36 months was Harry Huffer with runners-up Scarlett Dixon and William Gower. Daisey Bow Pooley scooped 10-18 months followed by Kiara Waterman and Grace Hubbard. The winner of 0-9 months was Hugo John Sharpe with runners-up Alfie Jay Cornish and Curtis Dixon.
Peter Hoxley, advertisement director at Anglia Newspapers, said: “Every year I am amazed at the sheer number of babies and toddlers who are entered.”
