Thousands of pounds of tourists’ property stolen from minibus in Lakenheath

More than £2,000 worth of property has been stolen from a minibus parked at a nature reserve in Lakenheath.

A silver Ford minibus, which was being used by tourists visiting RSPB Lakenheath Fen, had a back window was smashed and two bags stolen from inside.

It happened between 3pm and 4.30pm on Sunday at a car park in Station Road.

The bags contained numerous items including an Apple Macbook Air, adapters, batteries and chargers for a camera, approximately 90 Euros, assorted travel tickets and a passport.

The combined value of the stolen items is £2,500.
