SPECIALLY laid on coaches will enable theatregoers to travel to the world premier of Stagefright at the Theatre Royal, in Bury St Edmunds, at the beginning of February.
The ghoulish Victorian play by Michael Punter tells of the haunting of London’s Lyceum Theatre at the time of Bram Stoker and Sir Henry Irving, whose friendship is put to the test by a murderous spirit stalking the theatre. The production, from February 9-25 is directed by Colin Blumenau, the theatre’s artistic director, and tickets for the Stagefright Theatrebus package are £23 or £11.50 for those under 26. This includes a programme and free drink on arrival.
