Bury St Edmunds Theatre Royal’s young Costume Creators had the chance to show off their work to proud parents.
The creators are young people with low to moderate learning difficulties who work with the theatre’s costume department on costumes for productions there.
Most recently they have helped put together waistcoats, bonnets and dresses for Romeo and Juliet and Mansfield Park.
Costume Creator Kelsey Choppin said: “I hope I can always be part of Costume Creators, and I miss it during the summer holidays. My dream would be more time working in a theatre’s costume department.”
The Costume Creators group will restart in September and is always looking for more members interested in learning new skills and getting involved in all the excitement of working in a theatre wardrobe department.
