Two teenagers arrested on suspicion of manslaughter following the death of 13-year-old Ben Wragge have been re-bailed pending further enquiries.

The popular teenager from Great Ashfield, a student at Thurston Community College, died on Sunday May 1 after being shot in the neck with an airgun pellet at an address in Old Post Office Lane, Thurston.

Emergency services were called to the scene at around 1.35pm and rushed him to West Suffolk Hospital where he died a short while after.

The two teenagers are due to return to Bury St Edmunds Investigation Centre on Thursday July 28.

An inquest into Ben Wragge’s death was opened on June 6 and adjourned until November
