A 10-YEAR-OLD boy who beat cancer will climb one of England’s highest peaks to raise money for charity.

Sam Sharp, of Mildenhall, battled leukaemia from 2005 but has been in remission for four years.

Sam and his father, Lee, will scale Helvellyn on July 26 in memory of Sam’s grandad, David Butcher, and to raise money for Children with Cancer and MDS Leukaemia.

Sam said: “I want to raise money for the people who helped me get over leukaemia. They were really nice to me and helped me get through it.”
