Spring lambs are struggling this year with the icy temperatures but this little chap had a helping hand from Jessica Baker as the Suffolk Red Cross launched its Open Gardens scheme.
Youngsters were at Grundle Farm in Wattisfield to help the launch which sees 20 private gardens open this spring and summer. The first will be Nedging Hall on Sunday which has beautiful grounds featuring a lake and extensive walks. Grundle Farm itself and nearby Wattisfield Croft will open on April 27 and 28 where visitors can enjoy spring lambs and alpacas.
On May 12 Bob Flowerdew will give a talk at Haughley Park and tickets are available from 01284 727247. A full list of the gardens is at www.redcross.org.uk or leaflets can be picked up from libraries.
