Four Stowmarket High School students travelled to the world famous Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital last Friday to hand over a cheque for more than £5,000.

Generous students at the school managed to raise a whopping £5,162.20 by completing a sponsored 10 mile walk in July, stomping through the countryside around the school.

Stowmarket students Aidan and Ben managed to raised the highest amount of money individually on the walking challenge.

Gus was the star of school assemblies when he came in with his mum and dad to visit students and talk about the excellent care that Great Ormond Street had given him when he was born.
