Hymn writer Stuart Townend will return to The Apex in Bury St Edmunds on November 4 to perform a special concert to mark the 40th anniversary of the town’s Southgate Church.
Townend, whose hymns and songs are sung in churches around the world, sold out the venue last time he played there two and a half years ago.
Bob Jones of Southgate Church, who is organising the event, said: “This will be a fine end to our year of celebrations to mark our 40th birthday.
“It is a big occasion for us and somewhat daunting to arrange, but we are confident that we will fill the wonderful venue that is The Apex and have a superb evening.”
For tickets, priced at £12 and £15, call 01284 758000 or visit www.theapex.co.uk
Proceeds will be donated to Christian charity, Chaplain in the Workplace.
