Steam vehicles large and small rallied round to raise money for Suffolk’s historic mills.

Ten steam vehicles including model and full-sized traction engines, rare early 20th century steam cars and the monster Invicta steam roller pictured, trundled along the Millers’ Trail, visiting the mills on the way.

It was organised by the Friends of Bardwell Windmill to raise money for its restoration but also helped boost Pakenham Watermill’s funds by attracting visitors to a barbecue when they stopped for lunch there.
