Star Wars and Harry Potter legend Warwick Davis was in Bury St Edmunds today filming for a ‘top secret’ project.

Although the actor, who is best known for playing Wicket the Ewok in Star Wars and Professor Flitwick in the Harry Potter films, was busy filming at the Athenaeum most of the day he still managed to get outside and enjoy the sunshine.

“I was filming in the town and what a lovely town it is too,” he said.

“I was made to feel very welcome.

“It felt like I was on holiday today, it always feels like you are on holiday when you are in Bury St Edmunds.”

Warwick said he had to keep what he was up to close to his chest.

“I was here filming for a top secret project, that is all I can say,” he said.

“My life is the life of a secret agent, I can’t even tell my family what I’m up to.”
