In a galaxy far far away not many steps from St Edmundsbury Cathedral youngsters and their families have been enjoying space exploration during the series of themed activities over the summer months,

For three days this month the cathedral staged a fun space show and trail with its own planetarium. Children also created their own planets. Pictured are Jasper Marvell,7, Mim Marvell,9, and Polly Atkins,9. There was also a space themed Lego workshop which encouraged youngsters to build their own Lego space ships.
