Sporting heroes from across Forest Heath have been celebrated at the annual sports awards.
Mildenhall Fen Tigers were named Team of the Year in recognition of their successful 2011 and 2012 seasons.
Having won the National Knockout Cup in 2011, the Tigers followed it up by having the greatest season in their history.
Their grand slam included the National League title, the Knockout Cup, the National Fours, the National Pairs and the National Trophy.
Forest Heath Squash Team, Andrew Robertson, Alastair Smith and Carl Collen, all aged 13, received the Ray Wells Spirit of the Games Award.
The three, who train in Mildenhall, emerged triumphant from the Suffolk Youth Games.
Brandon Lads, Lasses and Ladies Football Club secretary, Gary Rampley, 45, received the Services to Sport Award.
He said: “It’s not just me I’m part of a team. I do not do it for the awards but for the satisfaction, It’s good to do what we do.”
The prestigious Young Sports Personality of the Year was awarded to 16-year-old Sarah Gove, of Lakenheath.
Amongst Sarah’s many successes this year was winning the Suffolk County Under 25s mixed indoor title and two gold medals and a silver medal in her first appearance with the England International Under 18s team.
Sports Excellence Awards were received by Karlynn Edgeller, 17, of Brandon, Ellie Gatlin, 19, of Mildenhall, James Morton, 14, of Lakenheath, Lottie Kent, 13, of Icklingham, Jordon Kemp, 15, of Brandon, and Daniel Kemp, 13, of Brandon.
