EASTER came early for shoppers in Moreton Hall who were treated to a host of activities and free giveaways as part of a Cadbury Easter Fun Day on Friday.
Children who visited the Sainsbury’s store, in Bedingfeld Way, between 10am and 5pm were given the chance to look like their favourite Easter character by making masks of the Easter bunny and Easter chicks.
They were also given the opportunity to make an Easter card for a special loved one and their families were able to enjoy snapping pictures of them with Cadbury Easter cartoon characters.
Children who took part in a ‘roll the Easter egg through the maze’ challenge had the chance to win Cadbury themed pens, keyrings and bags, while the adults were given money-off coupons to spend on Cadbury products in the lead up to Easter.
A spokesman for Sainsbury’s said: “The Cadbury road show was very well attended and hundreds of children won various prizes for taking part in the events being run. The atmosphere was fantastic, with fun for all - we hope to see more events like this throughout the year.”
