Nicola Sexton shoes has relaunced an improved website which will make it easier for customers to order on-line on their mobile phones.
The upgrade website will also allow the independent women’s shoe specialist in Bury St Edmunds, to display more of its stock.
Logic Design in Bury, are behind the ‘fresh’ new website.
Finn Johnston, senior designer, said: “Someone is just as likely to want to order shoes on their mobile as they are at home on the laptop so we are making the website more mobile friendly, simplier to use and easier for Nicola to manage.”
The relaunch of the website coincides with Nicola increasing her weekday hours by half an hour until 5.30pm.
At the same time the Abbeygate Street shop will be closed on Sunday’s to allow Nicola time to concentrate on her wholesale side of the businesses.
Nicola will however open the shop by appointment to suit customer demand.
“The wholesale side of the business has become so busy – something had to give. “We do feel that our customers tend not to be Sunday shoppers,” he said.
“We will probably miss some passing trade from visitors and that will be a great shame, but we have to look at the bigger picture make sure we are not spreading ourselves so finely that we are not able to provide a first class service in all areas.
“Many times we have people popping in just before 5pm during the week and so I’m hoping that this extra half hour each day will be beneficial to our regular customers.”
