Seven teenagers, including a 17-year-old from Stowmarket, have been bailed after a man was injured during an altercation in Ipswich yesterday.
Police were called by a member of the public at around 5.20pm on Sunday July 5 to Tuddenham Road to reports of a group of teenagers fighting.
During the incident an 18-year-old man was wounded in the upper arm/ shoulder.
The group ran from the scene and officers searched the area.
The injured man was taken to Ipswich Hospital, where he has since been discharged.
Seven teenagers were arrested in relation to the incident and taken to Martlesham Police Investigation Centre.
Those arrested were a 15-year-old male from Ipswich on suspicion of affray, two 16-year-old males both from Ipswich on suspicion of affray, a 17-year-old male from Stowmarket on suspicion of affray,two 16-year-old males both from Ipswich on suspicion of violent disorder and an 18-year-old man from Ipswich on suspicion of affray.
All have been bailed to return to Martlesham Police Investigation Centre on Wednesday August 19 and Thursday August 20.
