BUSINESS savvy pupils from a Bury St Edmunds school triumphed in the finals of an enterprise contest.
The King Edward VI team won The Skills Factor 2012 Finals with their project PopAway – a popcorn service run in a similar way to traditional ice cream vans.
They were up against pupils from five schools across the country.
The competition was organised by Young Chamber UK and challenges young people to showcase their skills, initiative, craetivity and discipline to enter the world of work. Kevin Smith, chief executive of Young Chamber UK, said: “The winners demonstrated a real entrepeneurial spirit, a sound business case and a product that could potentially work commercially.”
