A school released a million bubbles during its annual sports festival to commemorate lives lost in the Rwandan genocide.
King Edward VI, in Bury St Edmunds, embarked on the eye-catching challenge yesterday as it hosted the Rwandan Olympic team last year and is partnered with a school in West Rwanda.
The bubbles, generated by machines, were just one of many highlights during the action packed day with 1,000 students taking part and entertainment from cheerleaders, singers and dancers.
Assistant head Sarah Whyand and teaching assistant Rebecca Jennings also aimed to run 20 miles continuously.
