One of the world’s finest singers - Sarah Jane Morris - is returning to perform at Fleece Jazz at Stoke by Nayland this month.
The singer, who regularly sells out Ronnie Scott’s and fills arenas across Europe, has been singing since 1980.
She has developed a four octave range to deliver magnificently powerful and passionate live performances.
Fame first came to Sarah with the Communards ‘Don’t leave me this way; in the mid 1980s and notoriety when the BBC banned her recording of ‘Me and Mrs Jones’. Since then she has written hundreds of songs and recorded more than a dozen CDs.
On December 20, Sarah is bringing the extraordinary Italian guitar virtuoso Antonio Forcione with her - once described as the Jimi Hendrix of acoustic guitar.
Fleece Jazz is one of the most prestigious jazz clubs in the country, winning All Party Parliamentary Jazz Appreciation Group;s Best venue of the year award in 2009.
