The designer of the ‘River of Flowers’ on Tollgate Triangle, in Bury St Edmunds, has given the colourful floral display a tidy up.

Adrian Bloom, from Bressingham Gardens, lent a hand to help keep the popular feature blooming this year.

He was joined by members of Bury in Bloom, the Abbey Gardens Friends, a gardener from the Abbey Gardens and Cllr Diane Hind.

They also planted a winter orange tree at the River of Flowers for St George’s Church.

Melanie Lesser, Bury in Bloom co-ordinator, said: “Adrian was impressed how well the plants have done because it’s two years since they went in and we didn’t need to replant anything other than the one tree.”
