Car owners will be giving their loved machines an extra polish as they get ready for this year’s Cars on the Green and New Bury Motor Show.

The event on June 16 at Nowton Park will feature some loved classics ranging from the Triumph TR7, Spitfires, Cortinas and Capris, hatchbacks and Fiestas.

There will also be a showing of the latest designs out this year from dealers in and around Bury St Edmunds with more than 100 new cars on show.

The day is raising funds for East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices, St Nicholas Hospice Care and the East Anglian Air Ambulance.

Prizes will be awarded for best dealership stand, best vehicle and best ‘rat’ - the messiest looking car.

The Bury Free Press will also be selling raffle tickets for our Beat It appeal offering you the chance to win a Vauxhall Corsa SXI for a £1. Go to www.buryretrocarclub.co.uk for entry forms.
