A GROUP that was set up to give residents a voice on future developments in their locality and other community issues will meet at the end of the month.
The Moreton Hall Residents’ Association has been running for about six months.
During that time committee members have attended consultations on three proposed developments that will affect people living in Moreton Hall – the Compiegne Way, South East and Moreton Hall developments.
Michael Bacon, chairman of the association, said that some consultations had presented a clearer picture than others which had left members ‘a bit confused’ about what was going to happen.
He said: “We’re all very happy to have the involvement, and the ability to say no we’d prefer to do this rather than that and have a reasoned judgment on it, but it’s difficult to no where we’re going.”
On March 28 at 7.30pm, the association will hold a public meeting at the Moreton Hall Community Centre. Residents will be able to comment on the activities of the association and raise issues to be considered.
