St Edmund’s Catholic Parish celebrated the 250th anniversary of its first Mass in Bury on Saturday - by opening the newly refurbished Blessed Sacrament Chapel.

The chapel, built in 1762, acted as the parish chapel until St Edmund’s Church was built next to it in 1837.
