Have your say

This week’s poem, called Amazing Grace, is by John Radford.

You can keep on running but you cannot hide,

no matter how fast or how hard you have tried.

There is nothing that you can alter, no disguise you can wear,

not even shades on your eyes nor shaving off all your hair.

Because He is on your case and in your face,

invading your space, with His amazing grace.

You can change your name to Buffalo Bill,

go and live in the rainforests of deepest Brazil.

You can speak another language, Russian or Chinese,

but wherever you go it is never going to be a breeze.

Because He is on your case and in your face,

invading your space, with His amazing grace.

So you had better face the truth, as hard as it may be,

if you continue to run and hide then you will never be free.

You just have to be yourself and take it on the chin,

accept that He is there for you so give your life over to Him.

Because He is on your case and in your face,

invading your space, with His amazing grace.

Yes, He is on your case and in your face,

invading your space, with His amazing grace.
