This week’s winner of See it, Snap it, Send it is Moira Walshe, from Lidgate, with this picture of The Treasurer’s House in York.
Moira said: “The Treasurer’s House is a National Trust property and I was in York for a few days having attended the BBC History Magazine Weekend at the Merchant Adventurer’s Hall.
“I love the quality of the light in the late September sunshine and the beautiful white flowers in the foreground.”
Moria wins the chance to have her picture made into an A3 canvas print couresy of Denny Bros’ Sprint Print service in King’s Road, Bury St Edmunds. Alternatively, she can choose to have fibe smaller glossy prints.
Wayne Shardelow, from Bury St Edmunds, sent in this picture of a cheetah, taken at Colchester Zoo. He said the sunlight behind it cast a ‘lovely aura’, which he captured using a Canon DSLR 7D with a 28-300mm lens set to 300mm, ISO 3200, 1/200th of second.
“This photo was taken on a recent visit to the glorious Abbey Gardens,” writes Glynis Bannister, from Bury St Edmunds.
“I love all the different colours. We are very lucky to live in such a wonderful town, full of history.”
