This week’s winner is Mick Brown, from Bury St Edmunds, with this picture of a siskin visiting his garden.
Mick said: “I was using my Olympus OMD E-M1 with a 300mm lens, the photo was taken through a window so I was very pleased with the final exposure.
“I suppose the bottom line is it’s nice to get out in the fresh air but it’s also nice to be able to get some nice photos from the warmth of your living room.”
Mick wins the chance to have his picture made into an A3 canvas print, courtesy of Denny Bros’ Sprint Print service in King’s Road, Bury St Edmunds. Alternatively, he can choose to have five smaller glossy prints.
Ruta Stankeviciene, from Mildenhall, sent in this picture of reed seed heads which, she says, she doesn’t have much to say about except ‘I just like it’.
This lovely clump of snowdrops was snapped on a path near Cullum Road, Bury St Edmunds, by Andrea Gillies, from Bury.
