Here are this week’s readers’ pictures.
This week’s winner of See it, Snap it, Send it was Barbara Haines, from Thetford, with a colourful picture of a peacock butterfly.
Barbara said she took the picture as the butterfly stopped to feed on a buddleia flower.
Barbara wins the chance to have her picture made into a canvas A3 print, courtesy of Denny Bros’ Sprint Sprint service in King’s Road, Bury. Alternatively she can choose five smaller glossy prints.
Polly Batchelor, from Walsham-le-Willows, submitted the close-up picture of a bee – seemingly with a smile on its face. She said: “I caught this bee, who seems really happy with the warm weather.”
The picture of a male blackbird sunning itself was sent in by Robert Lawson, of Bury St Edmunds. Robert says it’s thought blackbirds do this to help maintain the good health of their feathers.
