Pupils at Riverwalk School, in Bury St Edmunds, helped create a garden for the senses.

The 12 to 14-year-olds transformed a courtyard space into a sensory garden with flowers, windmills, wind chimes and bird boxes.

Some items were dontaed by families and Fordham Garden Centre provided a discount to the school.

Kirsty Tootell, Key Stage 3 teacher, said: “They love it and are out there every day now. Some other classes use it as well.”
