EASTER came early for some school children who donned the finest themed headwear for a special parade.
About 40 pupils, aged three to seven, at Moreton Hall Prep School enjoyed an Easter parade around the grounds wearing a variety of special hats they had made at home.
The group, from the pre-prep department, were cheered on by fellow pupils as well as parents.
There was one winner from each of the four year groups for the best hat, while everyone received an Easter egg for their efforts.
Before the parade, there was an assembly with poetry, songs and the Easter story.
Anne Cheason, head of pre-prep, said: “They had a fun time. There was a lovely atmosphere and it’s a great way to end the term.”
